The Atlantic vincula a Obama y a Lincoln en función de sus versos.

Aquí, uno de dos publicados en el 81, en un journal estudiantil literario y escritos por el presidente electo:

UNDERGROUND

Under water grottos, caverns
Filled with apes
That eat figs.
Stepping on the figs
That the apes
Eat, they crunch.
The apes howl, bare
Their fangs, dance,
Tumble in the
Rushing water,
Musty, wet pelts
Glistening in the blue

Pongo también una excelente burla que hizo Slate al manejo del lenguaje de la entoces candidata a vice presidenta por el bando republicano, Sarah Palin. El reportero-editor tomó frases sueltas de la gobernadora de Alaska y las acomodó en forma de haiku. El resultado es genial.

YOU CAN'T BLINK

You can't blink.
You have to be wired
In a way of being
So committed to the mission,

The mission that we're on,
Reform of this country,
And victory in the war,
You can't blink.

So I didn't blink.
